Me

My husband and I live in NW Wisconsin.
After teaching art in the public school system for 10 years, our little Gwenyth came into the picture.
I could not bear the thought of going back to work.
However, I was also scared to death to leave.
But, I did, and it has been the best decision I have ever made.

My husband is a free lance musician. I am now a mommy and a free lance artist.

Many people give us funny looks when we say that we are both free lancers. You can read on the their faces the doubt that we are "making it."
But, we are. By the Grace of God, we are.

When asked what surprised him most about humanity,
the Dalai Lama answered:
"Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future. He lives as if he is never going to die and then dies having never really lived."

I want to enjoy the present. I want to live simply and love greatly.
I hope this blog will inspire you to do the same.
