What is this Place?

I have deliberated long and hard about what I want my life to look like and what part this blog plays in that.

For a long time, I wanted this blog to be the main hull for my business ventures. I took classes on how to be a great blogger and how to build my indie business. It was great, re-warding, and what I wanted to do full time.

Then, along came baby. The biggest blessing in my life. She has changed everything...for the good.

I have done some evaluating of my goals and values and how I want to live my life. They key word as of late is: Simplify.

I am BLESSED beyond measure that I am able to stay home and not work a full time, scheduled job.

My first priority by choice is to work with Mike and raise Gwenyth in a loving, creative, environment. I want to be a wife and mom first.

I also want to be keep my household clean, healthy, and happy. I am definitely NOT the best housekeeper or cook, but I enjoy taking care of the people in my life and the space we inhabit.

Then, I want to be able to pursue my creative passions. I consider it such a privilege to be a successful free lance artist. I have multiple jobs that feel mostly just like extensions of my creativity.

I want this blog to be a place to share the things that are important to me and hopefully, many of you will be able to relate to the things that I post. I want it to be a place that I see as a shared extension of my life.

I don't want it to be another "job" or another task on my list of things to get done.

So, hence forth... I shall post when I want to post. I am no longer going to pressure myself for a certain number of posts per week. Heck, it might be a crazy, busy week and you might see nothing new. Then... BAM! I gotta lot to post about that crazy week. Who knows?

I do know, this place is very important to me. I appreciate those of you who read my posts. It means the world.

Thanks.

Oh good....I thought you were leading up to sayig you were done with the blog! Because I enjoy reading! Sometimes I do a post, but don't post it right away. That way,, if I'm busy I can post a finished one so there isn't big time gaps. That takes the pressure off.
