Birthday Baking

I don't really love birthdays for the presents or the party. In fact the only reason I ever have a party is to have people over to eat the CAKE!  The cake is the reason for celebration : )

For me, it's even more than eating the cake. It's the excuse to decorate the cake...or cupcakes.

So, these are my birthday cupcakes that I just ended up sharing with my church. Don't worry, I ate my share of these dark chocolate cake, coffee butter cream frosting cupcakes.

My roses are getting better and better!
