Mommy Monday

Most nights before I put Gwenyth down in her crib for the night, I read to her from this book:
I think the writers do an excellent job with the stories. They are realistic; not candy coated, but in language that is suitable for youngsters.

But the real reason I LOVE it so much is the illustrations by Fausto Bianchi.
Every illustration is full of detail and color that is just the right mix of realism and imagination. I love line art and do a lot of line art myself. The spirals of the hair, the lines of the drapery are so beautiful.
His illustrations INSPIRE me immensely.

If you click Here, you can see some of the beautiful work from the book.

crazy beautiful illustrations! you described them so accurately, chris. when julian was a babe i would (and still) read him the Jesus storybook bible (my personal favorite) every evening. it would put him to sleep quick, unlike dr. seuss books; he would stay WIDE awake for those! : )
