Make-over AND a Give-a-way!!

I never think to take before and after pictures until it's too late.  If you can imagine...before, this room was orange.  I loved orange.  I still love orange, but I have changed my focus since this became my "craft room." I've gone from paper crafts to digital art so, there isn't much need for all of my paper scrapping supplies.  I want to paint more.  I want to sew more.  I want to think of this as my art "studio."   I wanted fresh instead of funky, vintage instead of mod. So, I will show you the inside wall, because frankly, the rest is still a mess.  I need shelves.
See that picture hanging on the wall?  It's a drawing of me, painting the sets for the school musical.  It was drawn by a former student of mine.  That picture means the world to me.
See the cloth hanging on the curtain rod...that will be ironed, sewed together, and look pretty eventually.

I am in love with the frame stickers!

So, like I said, I have finally accepted the fact that all my scrap booking and card making is done on the computer.  Therefore, I did a complete overhaul of my inventory.  In the process of "de-junkifying" I realized that alot of it isn't junk at all.  It's really great stuff; stuff I just don't use anymore!  So, all you paper crafters out there, I would like to share some of this stuff with you, because I know you will put it to good use.

That stamp set if from Stampin' Up! ~ Itty Bitty Backgrounds.
Those are 10 slide mounts
That is a container of eyelets

If you would like to get all this FREE, simply leave a comment on this post telling me when your most productive art/craft time is.  Mine is late at night.  I am such a night person.  Even if I am dead tired, I get motivated to create around 11:00 pm.  It's okay in the summer, but detrimental during the school year.

Enter by Tuesday, July 6, 2010.  I will pick a winner randomly on Wednesday, July 7th.

Good Luck and have a HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY weekend!

fun!! My most productive time varies with the rest of my schedule/life... I guess it is midday/afternoon right now. :)

My most productive time is when I just get back from a walk down my very long drive way. I tend to get inspiration when I am out in nature. It brings stories to my mind and then I feel I have to create things from those stories. This normally happens in morning(the walk) but the actual crafting happens randomly through out the day.

p.s. your room looks awesome
