I do love the Thea-tah...

This weekend, the kids at the school I teach at put on the musical, "Curtains."  I played an old, has been actress/diva...who is murdered in the first scene.  I loved this playing this part...even though I had 5 lines, I relished it.

Mostly, though...it is just SO FUN to see the kids in this light.  They are so excited.  They have worked for two and a half months.  When I see them on stage, I just swell with pride.  It's definitely one of those rewards of being a teacher.

This is them, getting warmed up to some crazy, techno "nooma...nooma somethin' or other."

And this is me...ready to perform the epic death scene.

How was your weekend?  What fun fantastic things did you do?  I'd love to hear.
